Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to provide essential services within a school setting. This role involves travel within the Hartford, CT area to support multiple educational sites, delivering speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student education plans
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children in educational environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and travel between school locations
