Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) certification is sought for a contract position in a school setting located in Fremont, California. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to students to support their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student educational plans
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
