SUMMARY

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our Purchasing, Sales, and Production teams. In this role, you’ll manage incoming inventory and stockroom organization while driving material handling efficiency and supporting production workflows.

This is more than a warehouse role—we’re seeking someone with a leadership mindset, capable of mentoring others, resolving issues proactively, and contributing to continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are essential to this role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Receive and process incoming inventory and materials
  • Audit material kits and log any issues or discrepancies
  • Operate ovens for moisture-sensitive components and document usage
  • Handle and track customer-supplied materials (SC tracking)
  • Resolve material discrepancies with buyers, customers, or production staff
  • Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Material Handlers
  • Help coordinate and prioritize work within the stockroom and support areas
  • Support Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts across the department
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners
  • Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach to all work
  • Assist other departments and fill in for team members as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum 2 years of material handling, warehouse, and/or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and understand documentation related to shipping, receiving, and production (in English)
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Familiarity with performance graphs and inventory tracking tools
  • Experience with IPC standards (Component ID & IPC Workmanship exams required post-hire)
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and follow through on problem-solving
  • ERP system experience and high attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, and handle small parts
  • Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, or lift up to 25 lbs
  • Visual acuity for color recognition, close/distance vision, and depth perception
