Job Title: Engineering Support Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform engineering support activities, including hands-on construction and testing for the development of new or modified components or products. You will troubleshoot electrical device problems to ensure efficient resolution.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and communication among the Prototype Build and Test team under the direction and guidance of a supervisor and other technicians.
- Assist in the efficient execution of building and testing 120V control panel test fixtures.
- Design, fabricate, or arrange for fabrication and testing of parts, components, and sub-systems.
- Review and mark drawings to support drafting and design documents.
- Coordinate between customers and other departments to design, build, and test component systems.
- Troubleshoot nonconforming systems and components for service, and make recommendations.
- Provide limited technical guidance and assistance to operators as necessary to complete and coordinate activities.
- Exchange technical information with vendors, customers, and inspectors for assigned products and components.
- Follow codes and procedures related to the job.
- Communicate technical information in written and verbal formats in a clear and precise manner.
- Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- AS degree in engineering science (EE, EET preferred) and a minimum of 3 years direct work experience with electronic instrumentation, including DVMs, is preferred.
- Experience working with 120V circuits.
- Experience troubleshooting basic electronic circuits.
- Experience using various hand tools for the fabrication of electronic/power assemblies and subassemblies.
- Experience using various hand crimp tools for the fabrication of wire harnesses is preferred.
- Experience soldering and removing both thru-hole and surface mount components at the PCB level.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Ability to interact efficiently and cooperatively with engineers and technicians.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven work environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Work Environment
The role is based in New Freedom, PA, within an engineering/lab environment. This is not a production role. The position offers two weeks of PTO and observes standard holidays.

This is a Contract position based out of New Freedom, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
