Job DescriptionFull-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elementary & K–12 SettingAbout the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a small, collaborative school district. This role will serve two key areas:
- Elementary Setting – providing additional support to help balance high caseloads and collaborate with existing SLPs.
- Setting 4 K–12 Program – a specialized center-based environment currently without its own dedicated SLP. Coverage has been shared by district SLPs, and they are eager for dedicated support.
This is a flexible position in which the exact caseload split will be designed in partnership with district leadership and the SLP team. One potential model includes having the incoming SLP take on speech-only students and serve as case manager for those articulation-focused caseloads, though this is not final. The district wants to honor each
SLP’s strengths, experience, and passion areas when building the workload.This district is highly collaborative, emphasizes push-in and teacher partnership, and has a strong team culture. Buildings are located within minutes of each other, keeping travel minimal and manageable.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services across elementary and K–12 Setting 4 programs
- Serve as case manager for assigned students, including progress monitoring and IEP responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff in a highly team-oriented environment
- Support a range of communication needs including articulation, language, social communication, and center-based programming
- Participate in push-in therapy and integrated support within classrooms
- Assist in determining a balanced caseload split with SLPs and administrators
- Provide consistent communication and support to families and school teams
- Utilize shared office space in the elementary setting as needed
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs will be considered
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience or interest in articulation caseloads, K–12 populations, or center-based programming is a plus
- Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple school environments
