About the Opportunity

Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a leading construction firm to identify a skilled and driven Project Manager to join its construction division. This role is pivotal in managing mechanical construction projects—including plumbing, piping, and HVAC—from preconstruction through closeout. It plays a direct role in client satisfaction, operational execution, and project profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset with hands-on execution, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding a culture of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead estimation and full lifecycle management of mechanical construction projects

  • Oversee budgets and all phases of project execution—including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor coordination

  • Maintain rigorous safety standards and ensure compliance across all job site activities

  • Review and manage project contracts, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and tracking documentation

  • Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules and coordinate field activities accordingly

  • Collaborate with owners, general contractors, and internal teams to deliver quality projects on time and under budget

  • Track costs and forecast budgets in partnership with administrative and finance teams

  • Lead project closeout, documentation, and final client training to ensure satisfaction

  • Identify risks proactively and drive resolution with project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing mechanical construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, piping)

  • Strong background in project estimation and job cost forecasting

  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate job sites safely

  • Comfortable standing and walking up to 8 hours daily, with occasional climbing, crouching, and reaching
