Land Development Engineer - Civil Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Land Development Engineer to lead technical design efforts for multidisciplinary civil engineering and land development projects. Reporting to the Director of Land Development, you will oversee project design, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure regulatory compliance for development projects, including commercial, retail, and K-12/institutional sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct engineering analysis, design, and reporting for land development and stormwater management projects.
• Evaluate land use and zoning requirements, and navigate site plan approvals and permitting processes.
• Prepare permit applications and coordinate with agencies to secure approvals.
• Perform occasional site visits during construction to assess progress and quality.
• Collaborate with owners, developers, architects, landscape architects, and contractors on project design.
• Mentor and train junior engineering staff to develop technical expertise.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 3 years in land development design
• K-12 site design experience is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office 360 (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong understanding of stormwater management, utility design, and sustainable development practices
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
