Addison Group is partnering with a reputable financial institution seeking a detail-oriented Deposit Operations Analyst to support daily back-office functions. Job Description:

The Deposit Operations Analyst will support a variety of operational functions within the bank, with a focus on wire processing, quality review, and deposit-related account maintenance. This position requires accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with branch teams and other internal departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing wire transfers with accuracy while ensuring all procedures, security protocols, and regulatory guidelines are followed.
  • Complete verification callbacks on outgoing wires to support fraud-prevention efforts.
  • Provide responsive support to internal partners by addressing questions related to wires, debit card activity, and deposit account maintenance.
  • Review newly opened accounts to confirm documentation completeness and adherence to internal requirements.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks on operational tasks to support compliance and accuracy.
  • Process maintenance updates submitted by branch teams and confirm the correctness of all account changes.
  • Review mobile check deposits for proper endorsement, accuracy, and potential risk.
  • Manage return mail by researching and updating account information as needed.
  • Perform daily follow-up reviews, including exception reports, audit checklists, and verification of prior-day processing.
  • Investigate and resolve items appearing on exception reports, ensuring timely correction and follow-up.
  • Review and post transactions that did not process automatically.
  • Handle non-sufficient funds (NSF) processing in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Support debit card functions, including processing maintenance requests and assisting with card-related issues or disputes.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in deposit operations or a similar banking operations environment.
  • Familiarity with wire processing and deposit operations workflows.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support both branches and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understanding of banking regulations, internal controls, and compliance standards.
