Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting students onsite during the 2026-2027 school year near Tacoma, WA. This position focuses on serving a K-12 population and offers the chance to make a lasting impact by providing dedicated speech-language pathology services throughout the academic year, from September 1, 2026, to June 23, 2027. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week and collaboration opportunities across diverse age groups, this role is ideal for SLP professionals excited to work in a school-focused, face-to-face environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure in Washington State or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based SLP settings with K-12 students
  • Must be fingerprinted through Washington’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), or willing to complete requirements
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate, or commitment to pursue
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to school culture and work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions
  • Engage in IEP meetings, record-keeping, and parent/staff consultations
  • Support students in meeting communication milestones in both group and individual formats
  • Maintain consistent onsite presence, providing in-person therapy and support
