A registered nurse with solid medical-surgical expertise is needed to provide skilled care on a 5th-floor unit specializing in Med/Surg and COVID patients. This role offers a 13-week contract opportunity with guaranteed hours and flexible weekend commitment options. The position demands clinical confidence, adaptability, and experience with complex cardiac care.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin (WI RN License)
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including at least 1 travel contract
- Proficient with EPIC charting system within the last year
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experienced in medical-surgical nursing, with knowledge of pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and post-pacemaker care
- Ability to manage occasional pediatric patients (rare cases)
- Strong resilience, adaptability, and ability to manage change effectively
Location:This opportunity is based in Menasha, WI, offering a vibrant community known for its welcoming atmosphere and quality of life. Role Responsibilities:
- Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 pm on an every-other-weekend or every-weekend schedule, as preferred
- Deliver patient care on a Med/Surg unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Collaborate with LPNs and CNAs to provide comprehensive nursing care based on patient acuity
- Float within the facility and to other nearby facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
- Participate in an 8-hour unbilled orientation week with guaranteed 36 hours per week post-orientation except during holidays

- No on-call or call-back responsibilities

- Travel experience required; candidates within 50 miles of the corporate center are not eligible to apply
