Department: Radiology – MRI\nLocation(s): West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland\nCertification & Minimum Qualifications\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent\n\nCertifications:\n\nARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI\n\nWest Virginia: State Licensure as an MRI Technologist\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS): Required\n\nDepartment Setup\nNumber of Scanners/Rooms: 3\n\nFloat/Coverage Areas:\n\nMay be required to float to TMH Hospital and Outpatient (OP) Facility\n\nImaging Types & Job Duties\nRoutine MRI exams\n\nSpecialized:\n\nProstate MRI\n\nBreast MRI\n\nScanning pacemakers, implants, and stimulators\n\nIV insertion required\n\nExperience Requirements\nPreferred: Minimum 1 year MRI experience\n\nVolume & Systems\nAverage Scans per Day: 15–20 per scanner\n\nEMR: EPIC\n\nPACS: FUJI Synapse\n\nEquipment Used\nVendors: GE and Siemens MRI scanners\n\nStaffing & Support\nLead Tech: Sonya Wedge\n\nRRA Utilization: No\n\nRadiologist Coverage:\n\nIn-House: Yes at hospital\n\nOP Center: Physician coverage available\n\nScheduling & Shift Details\nShift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM\n\nScheduling Type: Block scheduling; No self-scheduling\n\nWeekend Coverage: Rotating weekends\n\nHoliday Requirements: Yes\n\nCall/Standby: Rotating\n\nDress Code\nScrub Color: Black\n\nProvided: No
