Our organization, located in Baker City, Oregon, operates a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) dedicated to serving Baker County and nearby communities in eastern Oregon. We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a qualified physician specializing in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice, who is board certified or board eligible, to join our Emergency Department, recognized as a Level IV Trauma Center in Oregon. The ideal candidate will embrace a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care in the Emergency Department, while also addressing the regional demands of the Oregon Trauma System and our Trauma Network.
Position Details: This role is a .9 FTE position involving 24-hour shifts, totaling 72 shifts per year. Candidates must possess a robust clinical background and fulfill the necessary privileging requirements, which include ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications at a minimum. Additionally, candidates must secure Oregon medical licensure and obtain privileges at our facility.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice
- Ability to obtain Oregon medical licensure and privileges at our facility and affiliated hospitals as necessary; valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA required
