Location:
Baylor Scott White The Heart Hospital - Plano, TX

Schedule:
36 Hours – Nights Full-Time, Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality imaging services to support critical diagnoses and treatment plans. Working night shifts in a specialized hospital dedicated to cardiovascular health means you’ll be a vital part of a team focused on saving lives and improving outcomes for patients with complex heart conditions.

Staffing and Support:
You will work alongside an expert team of Radiologists, Cardiologists, Nurses, and Imaging Technologists. Our radiology department is equipped with the latest technology and provides a supportive, professional environment focused on collaboration, growth, and excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform radiologic procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by licensed healthcare providers for diagnostic purposes.

  • Prepare patients and procedural areas, including proper patient positioning, adjustment of immobilization devices, and accurate setup of radiologic equipment.

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established safety and quality standards.

  • Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and infection control procedures.

  • Review images for quality assurance purposes before submitting them to the Radiologist for interpretation.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.

  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide timely and efficient patient care.

  • Perform equipment checks, maintain cleanliness, and report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

  • Experience: Less than 1 year of clinical experience required.

  • Certification/Licensure:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire or within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Preferred:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification preferred but may vary based on department needs.

  • Experience working in a hospital environment, especially in cardiovascular or emergency settings.
