Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment
- Rotating shifts (may include weekdays and weekends, flexible scheduling)
In this important perioperative role, you will:
- Assist in surgical procedures and support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and the successful flow of operations.
- Prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and verify supplies before procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to surgical aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Accurately document procedures, patient status, and equipment use.
- Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing license in good standing (or eligibility for NH licensure).
- Certification in Operating Room Technology (ORT) required.
- Minimum of one year of recent OR experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Adaptability and capability to thrive in new and diverse environments.
