Pay Rate: $1,897 - $2,500 Weekly
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 3 Shifts Per Week
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services within an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in respiratory therapy, ventilator management, airway support, and cardiopulmonary assessment while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification.
• Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• Current AHA PALS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and acute care procedures.
• Experience with ventilator management and airway support.
• Ability to assist with intubation procedures.
• Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures under physician direction.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Assist with intubations and airway management procedures.
• Perform ventilator setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and management.
• Gather and evaluate patient information to determine respiratory care needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient responses.
• Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional practice standards.
