Summary/Scope of Work
The Order Clerk II will identify and procure the goods and services that is required through the use of commercial and governmental resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify external material needs of the organization
- Locate service process who can supply the necessary goods
- Negotiate for competitive prices
- Arrange for the purchase and delivery of goods
- Maintain records of prices, delivery dates, inventory, and data related to each transaction
- Utilize database/tracking system to process orders
Qualifications:
- One (1) to three (3) years general purchasing experience
- Familiar with TS-MATS, TADSS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to pass a background check, DOD Security Clearance preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- US Citizen
- Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude
