Make an impact on young learners by providing speech-language services in a supportive and dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate professionals ready to work with preschool students through school-aged learners, with adaptability across Carbon or Lehigh County. The assignment runs year-round on a 35-hour weekly schedule, aligning with the Early Intervention calendar. Experience the rewarding challenge of itinerant services for preschool early intervention, and demonstrate flexibility for possible shifts to school-age caseloads throughout the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a current, provisional or temporary Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates in Speech-Language Pathology are encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based or early intervention SLP settings
  • Ability to provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy
  • Willingness to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County as needed
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to serve students from preschool through grade 12

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person speech-language pathology services to preschool and potentially school-aged students
  • Manage an itinerant caseload across early intervention sites, possibly adjusting to school-age assignments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and contribute to student assessment and reporting

Enjoy the professional satisfaction of supporting children at a critical stage in their educational journey. This is an in-person opportunity where your expertise and passion for speech-language pathology will directly impact student development.

If you are a committed SLP or CFY eager to gain experience in a varied and meaningful educational environment, seize this opportunity and submit your application today!
