Job Description
Designs, builds, rebuilds and repairs the specialized tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, and molds that are essential for manufacturing parts. Read detailed blueprints, set up and operate various machines (including CNC), use CAD/CAM software, and assemble, file, grind, and test the precision tooling to meet specific dimensions and tolerances. Minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating manual lathes, manual mills (knee mills and horizontal mills preferred), manual grinders, and metal bandsaw equipment. Experience with surface grinding and ID/OD work is essential. The ability to read blueprints accurately and utilize calipers and Vernier scales for precise measurements is required. Welding experience required (MIG & TIG).
