Process Engineer | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Analyze process data to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and maintenance teams to support operational goals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability in process optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and process simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex manufacturing challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
- Experience with automation systems (PLCs, SCADA) or industrial IoT technologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project leadership experience
