A contract opportunity is available for a Social Worker specializing in telehealth services within a school setting located in Everett, MA. This role focuses on providing remote support and counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs through virtual platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth sessions with students to assess and address social and emotional challenges.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to create individualized support plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes in compliance with relevant confidentiality standards.
- Providing crisis intervention and referral to appropriate community resources when necessary.
- Monitoring student welfare and advocating for necessary interventions and support services.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a social worker in the state.
- Experience in school-based social work and telehealth service delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for virtual engagement.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, mental health disorders, and intervention techniques.
Location: Everett, Massachusetts (remote service delivery within the school system)
