The Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide in-home ABA therapy services to a pediatric client in Suffolk, VA.
This role is ideal for candidates who value a consistent weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work one-on-one with a client in a home setting. RBT-certified candidates are encouraged to apply and will be compensated at the RBT rate.
Schedule:
Tuesday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
In-home services
(Employees working 30+ hours per week consistently are considered full-time)
Compensation:
$18.00 – $21.00 per hour (BT)
$22.00 – $27.00 per hour (RBT)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a home-based setting
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
Collect and record behavioral data accurately
Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with children preferred
Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus
Active RBT certification required for RBT-level pay
Reliable transportation required
Professional, dependable, and compassionate
Strong communication skills
Ability to pass required background checks
