Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our team has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about building strong teams by matching people with the right roles. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, youll oversee the full hiring process and help create a seamless, positive experience for candidates and new hires.

While we are typically hiring year-round, this position can involve periods of high-volume hiring,including conducting multiple phone screens and interviews each day to meet the needs of our growing team. Youll work closely with hiring managers and our HR team in a collaborative, team-focused environment. This is more than a recruiting positionits a chance to partner with our HR team and contribute to the success and growth of our firm.

This position offers the opportunity to visit each of our 11 locations, usually once per year, providing a firsthand view of our teams and operations across the firm. Youll also shadow our different positions to gain an understanding of how our teams operate.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3 to 5 years of recruiting and hiring experience.
  • Be comfortable working with Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a HR-specific credential (SHRM-TA, SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR) within their first year.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • Be eager to learn our industry to identify candidates who are the right fit.
  • Recommend and collaborate with HR leadership to implement data-driven enhancements to hiring and outreach by leveraging current market trends and technological advancements like AI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all aspects of the hiring process, including application review, phone screens, interviews, preparing offer letters, and facilitating the pre-hire process for applicants who have accepted new roles.
  • Manage high-volume recruiting periods, balancing multiple open positions while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Regularly analyze our hiring process and implement changes to improve efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with legal requirements to ensure a compliant hiring process.
  • Review background checks in accordance with internal policies.
  • Actively seek opportunities for the firm to participate in career fairs and school visits, and attend some events yourself across our footprint.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting targeted recruiting campaigns for strategic hires when needed.
  • Supporting our annual job description review for each department.
  • Helping improve onboarding and training experiences.
  • Collaborating with marketing to develop effective recruiting campaigns and promote our employer brand.

Work Schedule:
This role begins as an in-office position, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days per week of remote work) after six months. This is primarily a Monday to Friday position, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional work outside our normal business hours to communicate with candidates, travel to other offices and events, and for other purposes as needed.
