Job Description
As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for driving designated routes to deliver dairy products. You will be home every night and work four days a week, ensuring safe and timely delivery. Successful candidates must pass a medical card examination, physical, drug screen, and drug/alcohol testing through the clearinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload dairy products for customer delivery.
- Drive semi-truck or straight truck to assigned customers on route.
- Pull or lift product from cases, pallets, or bossies.
- Perform daily safety checks of the vehicle and maintain a clean environment.
- Work within safety and regulatory company policies.
- Keep customer and truck inventory properly rotated and in stock at all times.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Follow DOT requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Utilize time effectively to achieve results through prioritizing demands.
- Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making abilities as needed.
- Show proficiency in essential tasks and a willingness to learn.
Essential Skills
- CDL Class A License with no restrictions.
- Ability to drive manual transmission.
- Physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Visual requirements necessary to be DOT qualified to drive.
- Meet all physical requirements as needed by DOT qualifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Sales experience.
- Ability to perform minor preventive maintenance on tractor trailers if needed.
- Interstate commerce license for transporting products across state lines is a plus.

Work Environment
You will work from 4:00 AM to 2/3:00 PM or until completion, four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). There may be an occasional need to drive an extra day based on coverage requirements. The role involves driving manual transmission diesel trucks with refrigerated trailers throughout Michigan. You will be responsible for unloading and loading products via dolly, interacting with customers, and collecting payments at times.

The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $59280.00/yr.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer service and sales oriented. Drivers on average can take home anywhere from $300-$1,000 a week in commission. This is solely a "get out what you put in mentality".
