Position Summary

Insurance Agent position based in Greenville, WI involves engaging with customers in person as well as on the phone to understand their insurance needs, present appropriate insurance solutions, and build long-term relationships. Agent will have the opportunity to build their income by servicing existing customers to maintain renewals as well as acquiring new customers through the sales process. Commissions are uncapped.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with new/existing customers via phone & email
  • Solicit new business via referrals
  • Meet with new customers to get a full understanding of their insurance needs
  • Develop an overall plan to properly insure new customers
  • Assist existing customers (i.e. answering questions, initiating claims, etc.)
  • Fully document client interactions in our agency management system
  • Produce new business to grow your income as well as grow the agency

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or greater
  • No prior insurance experience required
  • Agency will train the right candidate
  • Property & Casualty license is required (must be acquired within the first 90 days of employment)
  • Agency will share this cost with the new agent
  • Be a good listener to detail as well as be a good overall communicator
  • Able to multi-task & prioritize what needs to be completed for the day
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
