Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telemedicine visits for acute medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive virtual assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs when appropriate.
- Develop treatment plans and manage medications.
- Educate patients on illness management, medications, and preventive care.
- Document care accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in California.
- Graduate of an accredited NP program (MSN or DNP).
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to conduct full assessments).
- Minimum one year of NP experience in urgent or acute care.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
