About the Role
We are hiring a Sales Operations Support Specialist on behalf of a global manufacturer of commercial and consumer vehicles and equipment. Due to a significant increase in order volume, this organization is expanding its Sales Operations support function to ensure orders move efficiently from entry through delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and processes and wants exposure to sales operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position focuses on executing standardized, repeatable tasks while supporting a growing operations team. Strong performers may have opportunities for expanded responsibility or long-term placement with the client. Job Description
The Sales Operations Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support across sales operations, order-to-cash workflows, reporting, and system data maintenance. This position plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting order flow, and ensuring teams have reliable operational information.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Order Support
- Perform routine order entry, order maintenance, and customer purchase order updates using documented processes
- Maintain transactional updates related to order status and fulfillment
- Support billing-related uploads, reconciliations, and order updates
- Assist with customer setup and basic account maintenance
- Provide administrative support to enable senior team members to focus on complex issues
Reporting & Data Preparation
- Run recurring operational reports and maintain daily and weekly trackers
- Prepare clean, accurate datasets to support sales operations, scheduling, and planning processes
- Conduct first-level data review and escalate discrepancies as needed
System & Data Maintenance
- Complete routine updates, uploads, and data maintenance in CRM and related business systems
- Ensure system data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Communication & Coordination
- Send standardized follow-ups to internal teams or customers using predefined templates
- Support coordination between sales operations, inventory, and logistics teams
Documentation & Process Support
- Assist with documenting recurring workflows and updating standard operating procedures
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to reports, templates, and operational processes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience in sales operations, order management, operations support, or an administrative/transactional role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic pivot tables
- Ability to follow documented processes consistently
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring tasks
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods environments
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or order management systems
- Experience supporting high-volume, transactional workflows
- Analytical mindset with interest in growth and long-term career development
