EDM Operator | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Kentwood seeking EDM Operators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
- Set up and program EDM machines according to engineering specifications.
- Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machines.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code for machining operations.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and document process parameters.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize EDM processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, optical comparators)
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry
