Pediatric Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist– Roanoke, VA
Prime HealthCare Staffing, a national healthcare staffing company with over 25 years of experience, is currently seeking a licensed Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role focuses on outpatient pediatric patients with various developmental and neurological conditions. Local candidates are accepted.

Requirements

• Specialty: Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in outpatient rehabilitation
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of Pediatric SLP experience (cannot include school fieldwork only; must have outpatient experience)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
• Certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • Licensed with Masters or Doctorate degree in SLP

Patient Population & Caseload

• One on one treatment- treating approximately 10-12 patients per day
• Common diagnoses include developmental delays, Social communication needs, including ASD, Articulation and phonological disorders, Cognitive communication skills, Language comprehension and expression challenges, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and other pediatric conditions

Work Environment & Schedule

• Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient floating)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Shifts: 5 shifts per week- 8 hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Team is collaborative, young, and fun with lots of activates. Flexibility and quick learning ability are important.
