Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An excellent opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with specialized experience in home infusion and sterile compounding. This 13-week contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a consistent daytime work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare IV admixtures and perform sterile compounding tasks in a home infusion setting
- Accurately dispense medications and manage pharmacy inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards related to home infusion therapies
- Assist pharmacists with various pharmacy technician duties to support patient care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably with home infusion and IV compounding exposure
- Current Ohio pharmacy technician license is required
- PTCB certification is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and sterile compounding procedures
