Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide specialized behavioral support for students with severe disabilities and autism, ages 2 to 22, in a school setting located in Camden Wyoming, DE. This role requires an active Delaware BCBA certification and is strictly onsite during the 26/27 school year with a standard Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and challenges
- Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with IEP teams to establish measurable behavior objectives
- Serve on the crisis team to assist with de-escalation and behavioral interventions
- Support and train school staff in applying behavior management techniques
- Monitor and maintain accurate data collection related to student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is mandatory
- Experience working school-based with children and young adults, preferably in special education settings
- Proven skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
- Demonstrated competence conducting FBAs and designing BSPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and support staff
- Commitment to onsite work with reliable transportation to the school location
