Job Description

Insurance & Authorization Specialist – Full Time

Elite Spine and Orthopedics is seeking a friendly, responsible, and hardworking individual to join our growing team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced medical office environment. Our office hours are Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Prior experience with insurance verification is required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities Include:

Obtaining authorizations and referrals for new patients, follow-up appointments, and injections
Verifying patient eligibility and insurance benefits
Answering billing-related phone calls
Processing DME authorizations
Obtaining radiology authorizations
Working insurance denials and following up as needed

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, all employees must be willing and able to cross-train to assist in other office roles as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
