RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world’s premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.
This full-time position supports the Electronic Warfare (EW) Team at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent River, Maryland. ATR is the Navy’s East Coast open-air test range and supports aviation, weapons system, and experimentation test and evaluation (T&E) events as well as warfighter training exercises. ATR provides real-time T&E services including data acquisition, instrumentation, data analysis, recording, test management, and airspace management to DoD and commercial customers. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides real-time collection and characterization (RF Agility, Intrapulse and Interpulse Modulation, Scan) of radar and jamming signals to provide Verification and Validation (V&V) of waveforms from signal generation equipment to meet testing requirements.
• Provides post event data reduction and analysis to generate graphical analysis reporting for customer consumption
• Operates EW simulation systems to include; NEWEG, ACTS, Mobile Threat Emitter Systems, Battlefield Communications Simulation System, FURY, Mobile Cellular Phone Networks, and other EW emitter systems.
• Operate EW simulator equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and other electronic equipment to test forward and backwards power, measure VSWR, set power levels, and verify transmission of emitters.
• Develops or updates startup and shutdown procedures of assigned systems in accordance with contract requirements and direction of government leadership
Educational, Experience, and Skills Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent GED
• Successful completion of NCS EA-280/SIGE-3810 Intermediate TechELINT Analysis or equivalent program
• 4+ years of TechELINT collection or TechELINT analysis experience
• Proficiency with common technical radar signals analysis tool suite (Aspen, ESP, Midas, Martes, Scepter, MATLAB, Willow, etc.) is desired
• Military background as Radioman, EW, CTT, CTR, IN2A, or 35S or related job category is desired
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass drug screening
Clearance Requirement:
• Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
• Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
Work Conditions:
Conditions may vary. Most work is performed in enclosed buildings, but some outside work may be required. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees. Vision abilities needed to perform this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Some overtime or travel may be required.
