Job DescriptionExciting Opportunity for Experienced and New Graduate RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for RNs with over 2 years of acute care experience. New graduate RNs can receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus. This bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Compensation: Earn between $432.00 and $589.92 gross per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime is compensated according to applicable laws).

Shifts: 12-hour shifts available, including days, nights, and mid shifts.

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver prompt, high-quality nursing care to patients facing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening situations in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency nursing care, treatments, and life-saving interventions.
  • Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization.
  • Operate and monitor emergency and life-support equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Facility-Specific Requirements

  • For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
  • For non-OB facilities: Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire is required.

The estimated compensation for this role, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour.
