At The Greenleigh, exceptional events are thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed. The Event Services Manager plays a key role in bringing meetings, conferences, and special events to life by coordinating logistics, managing client relationships, and ensuring every detail reflects the high standards of the property.

This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations, working closely with Sales, Food + Beverage, and Banquet teams to deliver seamless and memorable event experiences.

Requested Tasks:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients following the sales process through event completion
  • Coordinate all aspects of group meetings, conferences, and special events hosted at the property
  • Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event documentation to ensure accurate communication with operational teams
  • Conduct planning meetings with clients to confirm event logistics, schedules, room setups, and catering requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Banquets, Culinary, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Monitor event setups and service to ensure client expectations and property standards are met
  • Manage room blocks, meeting space assignments, and event timelines
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during event planning or execution
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within event management systems
  • Support revenue and guest satisfaction goals for the hotel’s meetings and events business
  • Adhere to Makeready’s Guiding Principles, policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as needed


Requested Capabilities:

  • Prior experience in convention services, event management, or hotel group sales operations preferred
  • Experience coordinating meetings, conferences, or large-scale events in a hospitality environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems preferred
  • Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property during meetings and events
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds related to event materials or setup
