# Sr. Director – FP&A Systems
**Location:** Irvine, CA or Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
**Employment Type:** Permanent
**Salary:** $213,000 – $280,000

## Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Sr. Director – FP&A Systems** to lead the strategy, implementation, and modernization of enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems. This executive leadership role will partner closely with Finance and IT leadership to drive digital transformation, enhance data-driven decision-making, and deliver scalable planning solutions across the organization.
## Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the enterprise FP&A systems strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Lead the modernization of FP&A platforms, including OneStream, Power BI, Databricks, and ERP integrations.
* Drive a GenAI-first approach to financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and executive reporting.
* Identify and implement AI use cases such as predictive forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, and automated executive insights.
* Partner with data science and engineering teams to deploy AI solutions while ensuring governance, security, and compliance.
* Manage and continuously enhance the global FP&A technology ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
* Lead enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives from strategy through successful execution.
* Establish governance frameworks, delivery standards, and continuous improvement processes.
* Serve as the primary technology partner for Finance and FP&A leadership.
* Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global teams.
* Manage vendor relationships, technology budgets (OpEx/CapEx), and strategic portfolios.
* Provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, business value, and delivery progress.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, PMO, Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Legal.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
* 10–15+ years of experience in IT, Enterprise Applications, Finance Systems, or related technology leadership roles.
* Strong experience supporting FP&A and Corporate Finance organizations.
* Proven track record leading large-scale global technology transformation initiatives.
* Hands-on expertise with **OneStream** (preferred), ERP platforms, and enterprise finance applications.
* Experience with **Power BI, Databricks, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integrations**.
* Practical experience implementing **Generative AI** and AI-driven automation within finance processes.
* Strong understanding of AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
* Demonstrated success building and leading global teams.
* Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic leadership skills.
* Experience supporting finance organizations within the semiconductor or high-tech industry is highly preferred.
