Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a linen technician to be a part of their team. This linen tech will mainly work on the distribution of linens throughout the hospital. They will go to different departments within the hospital and make sure they are fully stocked with all the linens they need. They will sometimes help with soiled linens as well- picking up the dirty linens bag from the laundry shoot, placing them on a cart, and delivering them to be sent out and washed at a different facility. Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. This technician needs to have great customer service skills, able to be on time, and willing to help out in any way needed.
Must Have:
- Physical requirement of lifting up to 100 lbs – needs someone STRONG
- 2+ years’ experience in a role dealing with inventory, ordering, stocking, or similar responsibilities
- Organized, ability to distribute devices and inventory based on demand
- Reliable and dependable
- Great communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
