We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead downstream and upstream marketing initiatives to optimize demand for, and access to our medical devices. This role is ideal for a results‐oriented marketer with experience in medical devices, enhancing market access (coding, coverage and reimbursement), and a passion for shaping category‐defining medical devices.
Position Summary
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will own product positioning, go‐to‐market (GTM) strategy, lifecycle management, and sales enablement. This individual will translate clinical and technical innovations into compelling value propositions, drive adoption through cross‐functional collaboration, and support new product introductions (NPIs) as the company expands within sleep medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Portfolio Strategy
- Develop and execute the global portfolio strategy consistent with business goals and market trends.
- Lead lifecycle management including product introductions, transitions, and end‐of‐life rationalizations.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice‐of‐customer (VOC) initiatives to inform roadmap priorities.
Go‐to‐Market Execution
- Own downstream marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, and launch execution.
- Localize and adapt clinical, regulatory‐compliant content for multiple customer segments (dentists, sleep physicians, healthcare systems) in the US and Worldwide.
- Manage pricing, packaging, and commercial programs to support growth and profitability targets.
Messaging, Positioning & Content Development
- Create compelling messaging that differentiates our Devices.
- Produce customer‐facing content including sales tools, presentations, clinical summaries, and digital assets.
- Translate complex technical, scientific, and clinical features into clear customer‐centric benefits.
Sales Enablement
- Equip sales teams with training tools, educational materials, and objection‐handling resources to increase adoption and close rates.
- Support ongoing commercial execution by maintaining a robust pipeline of high‐impact sales collateral.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with R&D, Clinical, Operations, and Sales to align roadmap, messaging, and market priorities.
- Serve as the product marketing lead on cross‐functional launch, product development, and compliance projects.
Market Development & KOL Engagement
- Develop and manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and thought‐leadership initiatives to elevate, differentiate, and position of our devices.
- Support professional education, trade shows, and clinical events to drive awareness and strengthen brand positioning.
Performance Measurement
- Track product adoption, campaign ROI, market penetration, and message resonance to guide ongoing strategy.
- Use data and analytics to refine targeting and improve the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Track demand and control plan KPI's relative to expectations.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, portfolio marketing, or downstream marketing; medical device experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success planning and executing product launches in healthcare or technology markets.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize market insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong storytelling capability.
- Experience leading cross‐functional initiatives and driving alignment across sales, clinical, manufacturing and R&D organizations.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience marketing Class II medical devices, therapeutics, or dental/sleep health technologies.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
