A dynamic K-12 school in Aurora, CO, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding both CCC and School credentials to support students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an opportunity to impact the communication development of diverse learners in a vibrant educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide tailored speech-language therapy to students across grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
- Provide consultative support and training to staff on speech and language development strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district and state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid school-based SLP licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children across a range of speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a school setting.
