We are looking for a Part-Time HR Compliance Specialist who will ensure that our organization's HR practices and policies comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor legislative changes and pending industry changes, trends and best practices.
- Develop reports to comply with various U.S. EEO requirements as well as other state and local requirements
- Stay updated with statutory changes and have a system in place to alert when there are updates or new regulations.
- Provide compliance advice and verify any deficiencies or gaps are updated
- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are follow
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs or HR SHRM Certification is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of legislation and regulations
- Knowledge of employment law in the following states Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas
- At least 5 years experience in the regulatory or compliance field. Restaurant experience is a plus
