This role is responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality radiation therapy treatments while supporting patient care and departmental operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer photon and electron radiation treatments per physician orders
- Assist in brachytherapy procedures
- Perform simulations and prepare patients for treatment
- Ensure accurate documentation and treatment verification
- Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols
- Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
- Safely operate imaging and radiation therapy equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and clinical staff
- Support cross-training and team-based care initiatives
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy program
- ARRT (RTT) certification required
- Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license (LRTT)
- 2+ years of experience required
- Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria strongly preferred
