Float Phlebotomist – Contract Opportunity
Location: Lone Tree CO 80124
Duration: 01-02 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)
Shift: 7a-4p
Pay Rate: $18–$25/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education)
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support a top-tier medical facility in Aventura, FL. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a leading healthcare organization.
Position Overview
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care while performing blood draws and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to build patient trust.
Assignments may vary and can include a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
- Provide excellent patient care and clear explanations of procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence
- Complete daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Keyboarding and data entry proficiency
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
(Required in CA, NV, and WA)
Experience
- Minimum 2yrs of experience required
- 3+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
