We are looking for a mature and responsible Dental Hygienist for our family oriented practice. This role will support general dentistry and dental sleep practice by providing essential preventive dental care and education to patients. Working alongside multiple hygienists under one dentist, the hygienist will maintain high standards of care while managing a smaller patient load, ensuring personalized attention and thorough treatment in a single clinic location.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and dental charting
- Conduct teeth cleaning and plaque removal procedures
- Provide oral health education and cavity prevention guidance
- Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with oral radiography
- Implement infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with dentists and hygienist team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in dental hygiene. Additional experience a plus .
- Registered Dental Hygienist License
- Skills in dental prophylaxis, oral radiography, and periodontal therapy
- Strong patient education and infection control expertise
- Proficiency in charting and documentation
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate well within a team environment
