Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of various products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves working in a laboratory setting, collaborating with multiple teams, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare samples from various stages of production.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples.
  • Conduct thorough testing of finished products before release.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate results.
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues.
  • Accurately enter and import test data into relevant systems.
  • Maintain organized records of test results and related information.
  • Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) based on test results.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of these documents.
  • Perform testing and release incoming raw materials.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material quality.
  • Keep the laboratory spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Regularly calibrate and maintain lab instruments.
  • Organize and retain required records (both electronic and paper-based).
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations.
  • Coordinate activities with other Quality Technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Experience with chemistry, biology, and quality control.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and practices.
  • Ability to perform wet chemistry and titration.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience entering data into Excel and quality systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
