About the Opportunity
A collaborative, mid-sized organization specializing in advanced medical device technology is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support product development across the full lifecycle. This role offers hands-on involvement in cutting-edge R&D, working within a close-knit engineering team while contributing to innovative solutions in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop products including RF architecture, PCBAs, and interconnects in compliance with quality systems
- Build and test prototypes, perform circuit layout, and conduct lab testing using advanced equipment
- Manage development timelines and support project execution
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and performance
- Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for new and existing products
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in product design within a regulated or highly technical industry (medical device preferred)
- Experience with lab equipment such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Familiarity with CAD, ERP/eQMS systems, and MS Office
- Experience with SPICE, MATLAB, or HFSS preferred
- Knowledge of RF systems or electromagnetic field theory and experience with MRI/NMR technology is a plus
Salary and Schedule
- $95,000 – $125,000 annually
- Onsite in Pewaukee, WI
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
