A hospital inpatient pharmacist opportunity awaits in Monument, NM, providing vital pharmacy services in a 60-bed healthcare facility. This contract role offers a structured day-shift schedule, perfect for those who thrive in a consistent routine while supporting patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Wednesday through Tuesday rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide pharmaceutical consultations
• Utilize IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis effectively to support inpatient pharmacy operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Licensed Pharmacist in New Mexico or willingness to obtain a temporary license quickly
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to supervise and lead pharmacy technicians confidently
