QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Operations Research Analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our C5ISR Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.
Duties:
- Perform professional and scientific work requiring the design, development and adaptation of mathematical and statistical modeling and scientific methods to analyze operational problems.
- Develop statistical, predictive, and simulation-based models (e.g., regression, ANOVA, queuing theory, flow modeling).
- Collect and organize data from multiple sources, apply analytic techniques, and determine measures of effectiveness.
- Construct symbolic models of processes/systems and apply computational, mathematical, and statistical techniques to evaluate solutions.
- Use predictive modeling, cost analysis, and business reengineering/IDEF modeling to solve complex resourcing and modernization problems.
- Support analysis and modeling for modernization and readiness optimization.
- Produce decision-support briefings, budget justification documents, and strategic communication plans.
- Maintain situational awareness of assigned programs and report funding, readiness, and equipping status to leadership.
- Conduct quality reviews of program materials to ensure accuracy and clarity for senior decision-makers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 2-year Technical School required.
- At least ten (10) years of experience or military experience E5 and up required.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.
Physical Demands:
Physical demands of this position include ability to:
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
- Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
