Contract Duration: 1 Contract (No Extension)
Shift: Night (3x12-Hour Shifts)
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Open Positions: 1

Compensation:

• Travelers: $3,277/week

• Local Candidates: $2,656/week

Job Overview:

A leading acute care facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Trauma ICU team. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment caring for trauma patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill trauma patients

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures

• Monitor and assist patients undergoing conscious sedation

• Continuously assess patient condition and respond to changes promptly

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA)

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Trauma ICU or critical care settings

• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy

• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
