McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation is seeking a Full-Time Location Administrator to join our Mount Pleasant team. This is more than an office role — it is a key position that directly impacts the experience of every family we serve.
As the first point of contact for many families, you will help create a warm, professional, and seamless environment while partnering closely with our Funeral Directors to ensure every detail is handled with care and excellence.

What You’ll Do
This role blends organization, communication, technology, and service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting families and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls
- Coordinating chapel appointments, events, and staff schedules via Google Calendar
- Entering and managing case information in The Director’s Assistant (TDA) software
- Maintaining accurate records in Community Connections
- Preparing the Arrangement Room for family conferences
- Assisting Funeral Directors during arrangement meetings with data entry support
- Managing post-conference action items, including:

- Writing and submitting obituaries
- Preparing register books and service folders
- Creating tribute DVD slideshows
- Coordinating police escorts
- Assisting with chapel and visitation setup, including flower placement and service preparation
Your attention to detail ensures every service is executed flawlessly and every family feels cared for.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional additional hours as needed
- No nights
