In this dual-capacity role, you'll help provide administrative support to HR functions with a focus on supporting our talented team and provide support to the accounting team by handling accounting tasks to maintain our financial health. Compensation:

$24 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Administration

  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for submission, including time tracking and deductions
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including document collection and orientation setup
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
  • Support insurance administration, including monthly updates and audit preparation


Accounting Support

  • Reconcile company credit card statements and ensure proper expense coding
  • Assist with other account reconciliations and related documentation as needed
  • Support monthly financial reporting in coordination the Chief Financial Officer


General Administration

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Assist leadership with special projects and reporting

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or accounting support roles
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Rippling HRIS)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and time management skills


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in construction or trades industries
  • Knowledge of insurance audits and coverage updates
  • Basic understanding of employment law and HR compliance
