Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving preschool students as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Using your expertise, you’ll provide essential speech and language services, complete assessments, and make a significant difference in the development of young learners.
In this engaging role, you’ll work closely with preschool-aged children and also extend your skills to assess students in private and nonpublic schools nearby. You’ll have the flexibility to bring your SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials to a collaborative educational setting while enjoying the balance that comes with a 0.5 part-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in California
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
- Experience with preschool population preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities
- Dedication to culturally responsive and individualized intervention
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool, private, and nonpublic school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet evolving needs
